I am a third year graduate student doing research on the phase decomposition of model Ni-based superalloys. The current research, supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), focuses on understanding the phase evolutions in the Ni-based superalloys. In these days of skyrocketing oil price, our research is particular informative as it may facilitate the design of better Ni-based superalloys which is capable of working at higher efficiency and serving for a longer time.

I did my undergraduate study in Nanjing Univ. in China and got a master later from Physics department at Northwestern.
